eshatoto was founded in 2019 by a team of gaming industry professionals and technology specialists based in Kuala Lumpur. We saw a clear gap in the market: Malaysian players were using international platforms that treated the local audience as an afterthought — clunky currency conversion, payment methods that didn't include Touch 'n Go eWallet or DuitNow, and customer service teams that couldn't communicate in Bahasa Melayu or Chinese.
Our founding team drew on years of experience across online lottery operations, sports betting markets, and live casino technology to build eshatoto from the ground up. From day one, every decision has been made with the Malaysian player in mind — from the payment infrastructure to the game library, from the bonus structure to the language of our support agents.
